Passepartout celebrates Chinese New Year

It's so happy to get the gorgeous painting Passepartout from Jui.
My name is Tanna. I work in Taipei, Taiwan and stay in my home town
Tainan to have Chinese New year recently. (That's why I met Jui)

Last Sunday was the Chinese New Year's Eve here. the little painting
had dinner with my family. Here is the Chinese tradition: we always
have a dinner together with beloved family on CNY's Eve. There used to
be chicken, meat, and fish on table. And adults will give red
envelopes with money in it to parents, elders, and kids to send our
best wishes. those who accept the red envelopes have to say something
blessings or regards in return.

Temples here on CNY's EVE are all closed till the midnight. So after
dinner we went to the temple to wait for the opening. It is said that
the person who celebrates the first burning incense stick will earn
the extra luck! Passepartout also joined my family to wait for the
moment of the door open!

It was brilliant that the temple staffs collected all incense sticks
together so that everyone was the champion. Many people brought their
charm amulets here and circled them on the fire to pray for the luck.
Passepartout wanted to get closer but we took it far away since it was
kinda dangerous for him. ;)

CNY vacation will go on for the whole week. Next week Passepartout
will go to Taipei, the biggest city in Taiwan. Here we will see what's
going on next!
